Old crop now finished as last loads are tidied up. New crop feed beans trading ex farm around £185 ex farm and £170 for 2009. Premiums hard to lock in at the moment as Middle Eastern buyers not bidding at the moment.Peas should be good property for 2008 due to the low plantings and the same demand and need to be traded cautiously.
Oats:
Some old crop low bushel weight oats are trading in small quantities off the South coast with prices around £110 ex farm locally. The same prices are the ideas for new crop harvest movement again for export as millers remain absent from the market.
